Behind the artist

About Me

My name is Michelle Angélo, a contemporary artist based in Tromsø, Northern Norway. I am 29 years old, a mother of two little girls, and the artist behind Art by Michelle Angélo.
My artistic journey began in 2022, in my parents-in-law’s garage. What started as a creative escape soon became something much more meaningful. Painting gives me a sense of calm and freedom, allowing me to express emotions that words sometimes cannot.
I have always been a creative soul, often feeling a little different from those around me. Through art, I found a place where I truly belong.

Art That Tells a Story
My original acrylic paintings are inspired by nature, family, human connection and inner strength. I often incorporate abstract figures into my landscapes, representing the different paths we take through life and the invisible bonds that connect us.
Each painting is created with emotion and intention, using carefully selected colours, textures and details to tell a unique story.
Through my art, I hope to create something that resonates with you. A feeling of belonging, a cherished memory, or a reminder of the strength you carry within.
My original paintings are created in Tromsø, Norway, and are available to art lovers and collectors across the country.
Thank you for being part of my artistic journey.
With love,
Michelle 🤎
