‘Becoming You’

To me, this painting is about taking up space within yourself and trusting who you are.

Throughout life, we move through many versions of ourselves.

We grow, we shift, we let go.

There comes a moment when you stop making yourself smaller to fit into other people’s expectations.

You begin to stand steady in who you are.

You take your space.

The figure is intentionally painted large - to symbolize exactly that:

growing into yourself,
owning your presence,
and living the life you are meant to live.

This piece carries a quiet strength. A reminder that becoming yourself is not about changing who you are but about allowing yourself to fully be.
